The GB Rail GTFS (General Transit Feed Specification) feed contains schedules and geographic and accessibility information for British railway services based on data from ATOC (the Association of Train Operating Companies) and the NaPTAN database. The file is updated every Saturday.
The GTFS feed includes several extensions peculiar to the British railway system, such as TIPLOCs and activity codes. However, these additional files and columns may be safely ignored; they do not affect journey planning but can be used to provide extra information about services.
Some non-rail locations are excluded due to a lack of accurate geographic information.
The feed is not endorsed by ATOC or the Department for Transport and provided without warranty of accuracy, completeness or availability. Timetable data provided under the terms of the Creative Commons Public Licence detailed at http://data.atoc.org/licence-agreement. Source: RSP.
